We offer FABULOUS HIKING TOURS from San Jose del Pacifico.
Hike up and over the "cerro" to our place in La Venta. Then we'll have cocktails, lunch, dinner, whatever you like.
You'll hike through old growth forest where the Zapotecs used to trip mushrooms. You'll experience absolutely incredible flora and even a fauna or two. Walk among giant pine trees, mighty oaks, orchids, cacti, forest fruits, edible and medicinal plants and birds galore. You can even swing from vines like Tarzan...or Jane. The loveliest hike in Oaxaca.
Marvel at 360 degree vistas and gaze all the way to the ocean. Marvel more that we've created a route that's 90% downhill. (It can be hiked in reverse for those wanting a workout). Just marvel at the beauty of Oaxaca.The hike is just as shady as it is downhill, pleasant any time of day. We pick you up at 8 a.m. for morning hikes, 2 p.m. for afternoon hikes. Add a coursed lunch or sunset dinner on our patio accordingly. You won't regret it.
